Delete Your FlipSub Account

FlipSub is operated by HeapMem LLC. You can permanently delete your FlipSub account and the data associated with it at any time, using either of the paths below.

Delete from within the app

Open the FlipSub app on your device.
Tap Settings.
Tap Delete Account.
Confirm the prompt. Your account and associated data are queued for deletion immediately.

Delete if you no longer have the app installed

Email privacy@heapmem.com from the Gmail address you used to sign in to FlipSub, with the subject line "Delete my FlipSub account". We reply from the same address to confirm, and complete the deletion within 30 days.

We require the request to come from the signed-in Gmail address so that only the account owner can trigger deletion.

What is deleted

Your FlipSub account record, including your email address and name.
Your stored Google OAuth token (we also revoke it with Google, so FlipSub immediately loses access to your Gmail).
All subscription records we have extracted for you — service names, statuses, prices, and billing dates.
Any credentials or session cookies you stored for third-party subscription services to enable automated cancel/restart actions.
Automation logs recording cancel/restart attempts on your behalf.

What is kept, and for how long

Cryptographic hash of your email address — retained indefinitely to prevent abuse such as repeated trial signups. This hash cannot be used to recover your email or identify you.
Records required by applicable law — for example, financial or tax records — retained for the period required by law.

FlipSub does not store the contents of your emails, so there is nothing to delete there. Email bodies are processed in memory during a scan and discarded immediately afterward.
