Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of FlipSub, a subscription management application operated by HeapMem LLC ("HeapMem", "we", "us", or "our"). By using FlipSub, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

FlipSub helps you discover, track, and manage your subscriptions by scanning your email inbox (with your permission) for subscription-related messages. The app displays your active subscriptions, their costs, and can assist with canceling or restarting services.

2. Account and Access

You must sign in with a valid Google account to use FlipSub.
You must grant FlipSub read access to your Gmail inbox for the app to function.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, to use the service.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, disassemble, or otherwise tamper with the app.
Use automated systems to access the service in a manner that exceeds reasonable usage.
Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person.

4. Subscription Management Actions

FlipSub may assist you in canceling or restarting subscriptions with third-party services. When you initiate such actions:

We act on your behalf and at your direction.
We are not responsible for the policies, fees, or terms of third-party subscription services.
Cancellation or restart requests are processed on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee that every action will succeed, as third-party services may change their processes at any time.

5. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data.

6. Intellectual Property

FlipSub, its design, code, and branding are the property of HeapMem LLC. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the application without our written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

FLIPSUB IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT SUBSCRIPTION MANAGEMENT ACTIONS WILL ALWAYS SUCCEED.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HEAPMEM LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF FLIPSUB, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CHARGES INCURRED FROM FAILED CANCELLATION ATTEMPTS OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR ACCOUNT.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to FlipSub at any time, with or without cause. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time — see our account deletion page for step-by-step instructions.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or via email. Continued use of FlipSub after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of FlipSub shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts. Before pursuing legal action, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at privacy@heapmem.com.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect, and the invalid or unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
